HTE@USC: An interdisciplinary program in Engineering and Medicine

Donate to HTE

HTE@USC brings students from engineering and medicine into a variety of clinical contexts to find problems that challenge their ability to develop innovative medical devices and digital health solutions. Student projects connect these medical needs with engineering expertise and have created a wide range of products including pediatric medical devices and electronic health records to clinical data collection projects.

HTE@USC student teams receive training that enables them to engage the required diversity of stakeholders in the complex medical ecosystem of payers, regulators, legislation, institutions and funders needed to ensure that their solutions are sustainable.

Our classes and workshops are highly effective mechanisms for generating new research and project ideas and to foster collaborations. Student teams have emerged victorious in competitions and all teams benefit from funding for prototype development and stakeholder engagement activities.

Gifts allow us to expand our reach to empower more innovators, and advance research and thought leadership on critical topics related to health technology innovation. We thank you in advance for your donation that will be used to fund student projects, workshops, collaboration events or teaching resources.
